Are the Mastermind Groups just for construction business owners?
Yes. Business owners have a unique set of challenges that non-owners just wouldn't understand, so this program is exclusively for construction business owners.
Is a CoConstruct account required?
Yes. This program is exclusively for CoConstruct users, so you'll need to have an account.
Do I need to join live calls or can I listen to the replays?
You'll need to be committed to joining a monthly Zoom call on the first Thursday of the month. There will not be replays of the calls available. There are also Screen Share Sessions on the third Thursday of each month.
How many people can be in a group? I've been in builder clubs with up to 20 people, which is a lot.
There will be a maximum of 8 people in a Mastermind Group.
How else can I interact with my Mastermind Group members?
You'll have a private Slack channel (online messaging app) you can use to share ideas, ask questions and communicate with your small group.
What if I have to miss a call?
Stuff happens. We get it. If you miss a call, you can catch up with one of the other members to see what you missed. However your Mastermind Group needs you to be an active participant, so their expectation is that you'll make the time for the calls.
When are the calls?
The Mastermind group calls are the first Thursday of the month at 3pm Eastern / 2pm Central / Noon Pacific. Here are the dates for 2021:
September 2, 2021 - 3pm Eastern
October 7, 2021 - 3pm Eastern
November 4, 2021 - 3pm Eastern'
December 2, 2021 - 3pm Eastern
Do I need to travel to participate in this program?
No travel required. This Mastermind Program is completely online using Zoom. (There's no additional cost for Zoom.)
How much does it cost to join a Mastermind Group?
You can see the investment options by clicking the button on this page, but the real question is, "What is the value you're going to get out of it?" What if you could avoid a painful hire or an expensive mistake? What if you learn an idea that boosts your net profit a point or two? What's it worth to have a group of trusted peers you can call when you need help?
Who is running the Mastermind Group Program?
Todd Dawalt. Here's a little about this guy...
Todd coaches construction business owners on how to systematize their business, and runs The Construction Leading Edge Podcast. He has been leading construction businesses and projects for over 20 years, during which he's been involved with over $300 million of construction projects.
Will there be a live meetup sometime, so we can meet everybody in person?
Maybe. If that does happen, being a Mastermind Group member will give you early access to that event.
Can I sign up for a Mastermind Group in a few weeks?
When the timer on this page hits zero, enrollment will close and may not reopen for several months. Once the groups are set, we're going to get to work.
How will you select the group I'm placed in?
You'll fill out an application with your enrollment that will ask for your selected work type, annual revenue, local market, and a few other pieces of information. We'll review all the applications and place you in a group with people who have similar size companies, doing similar work, and are NOT in the same geographical market as you.
I have a few people I want to be in a group with. Do you take requests?
Absolutely. When you sign up, there's a "Notes & Special Requests" section on the application. Each person who signs up should tell me the names of the others they want to be in a group with.
What if I have more questions?
We're happy to answer them. You can email your questions to support@constructionleadingedge.com.
